Satan is Real

Some modern scholars and atheists preach that satan is not a real being. They claim that he is an illusion merely created in the imagination of men. They also argue that there are no scientific evidence that can prove the existence of Satan. Yet many say that satan is a superstition, a hallucination created by people. It is even more surprising that some christian churches who believe strongly in God also refuse to believe in Satan's existence. Satan is a real individual spirit being who manipulates all the evil in the world today.

The Bible tells us that Satan was created by God as a cherub, the most powerful of God's angelic beings. He was created in beauty and perfection by God…until  sin was found in him. Some time after his creation and before the creation of mankind, Satan rebelled against God and took one third of the angels (now referred to as demons) with him into rebellion but was defeated in what was known as the first war ever fought in the history of the universe. Satan rebelled against God because he wanted to exalt himself above  Almighty God. He desired the worship that only God is worthy of. His sin was greed, pride and idolatry

Evil: The opposite of all that is good. The fact that there is good and bad, truth and lie, love and hate, light and darkness, heaven and hell, visible and invisible justifies the existence of God and satan. The word Evil by Christian standard is any deed, thought or attitude that is contrary to the character or will of God. Every human being has a conscience which reminds him when he does good or Evil. The word satan means devil, the souce of all evil. The bible refers to satan as lucifer, the acuser and deciever of mankind. In our world today evil has become a daily affairs. Our society has become very frightening, confusing, hostile and dangerous because of crimes like murder, rape, theft, abuse, kidnapping, pornography, fraud and robbery. No crime occurs without the doer being tempted. The source of all temptation is satan. The father of all evil.

Satanism: Theistic Satanism (also known as traditional Satanism, Spiritual Satanism or devils worship) is a form of religion with the primary belief that Satan is an actual deity or force to revere or worship. Satanists pledges thier full allegiance to satan. Many people today worship satan either in form of juju, voodoo, witchcraft, fraternity, cults or false religion.  Juju refers specifically to the use of objects, such as amulets, and spells used superstitiously under the influence of an evil power or demonic spirit for reasons of hurting a person or to protect oneself from harm. Voodoo is the communication of adherents with the underworld and spirits of ancestors by way of trance for the purpose of charm, fetish, spell, evil curse, bewitchment and black magic. it is sought to harness occult forces or evil spirits in order to produce preternatural effects in our society.

Witchcraft refers to the use of magic most commonly for religious, divinatory or medicinal purposes. This may take many forms depending on motive behind it. The belief in and the practice of witchcraft has been present since the earliest human cultures and continues to have an important religious and medicinal role in both primitive and high cultural  societies today. Since the mid-20th century witchcraft practise has developed into modern paganism with evil activities that often end up in tragic consequences. Its members usually take an oat with the devil in exchange for powers to do evil and harm others. While this may have some truth in certain sects, for most modern witches it is quite far from their actual beliefs and practices. The truth is that the ultimate source of all evil powers whether, juju, voodoo or witchcraft is satan himself.

A more vivid evidence of satan's existence is found in religious organiztion such as church of satan established in San francisco, California in April 30, 1966, by  Anton Szandor Lavey, who was the church's high priest until his death in 1997. In 2001, Peter Gilmore was officially ordained the high priest by satan himself, and the church's headquarters were moved to Hells Kitchen, manhattan. The church has since then acquired thousands of members all over the globe. Greed, search for power, ignorance, pride and false doctrines has led many people to open up different religious bodies in the name of God while their real source of power is satan. Countless number of souls have been doomed to eternal hell by false religion and false prophets. The only true God is the Almighty God in divine person of Almighty father, the son Jesus christ and the Holy spirit.

Those who believe in God knows that to live a righteous life one must fight an uphill battle. The reason is simple. Satan does not want to lose his grasp on humans and hates seeing humans give their loyalty to God. Satan is continually seeking to discover our human weaknesses, for through them he can inflict and control us. Man's defense against satan is to be totally uncompromising to God's laws, but that is a difficult task. The standard of behavior accepted as "normal" in our society virtually gives Satan an upper hand. Because people are ignorant of the truth, they are helpless to win over satan and with that grip satan rules the world. Satan is an enemy of God, and an enemy of God’s people. He is named in a variety of ways which includes dragon, serpent, devil, tempter, enemy, murderer, adversary, father of lies, accuser and destroyer. He is the begining of sin, the inventor of evil and the originator of fall of man through Adam and Eve.

Satan is extremely  knowledgeable about man and has successfully decieved many into believing that neither him nor God exists. In order to achieve his goals against God, Satan works with demons whom he commands to carry out his orders and evil tasks. He also has people who are allies in his army, either by demonic possession, demonic influence, or simply living according to their sinful nature and sinful flesh. Such people include false prophets, false apostles, false christians and false teachers who contradicts the word of God. Satan is never satisfied, he wants to draw as many souls as possible to hell because he knows that his time is short. Satan is nothing before the Lord. The only power that he has is that which has been given to him by God.

If you are a christian and you do not believe that satan and demons are real, you are doing yourself and the kingdom of God a great harm. We literally face satan and demons every day in our society and it is very crucial that we learn to recognize them and fight them off in the name of Jesus. The bible says:

"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. " James 4:7
